Who can resist the irresistible taste of maple syrup? Not many people can! If you love having some maple syrup on your pancakes, then head on down to the Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival.You can enjoy some fresh hot pancakes; learn how maple syrup is made; go for a wagon ride or take in a variety of other fun activities. The best part about this festival, admission is $5 per person (plus HST) which is a lot cheaper than the other maple syrup festivals in and around the GTA.
Family movie time
If you love watching movies in the theatre with your kids, your love of movies can easily run you more than $50 by the time you factor the cost of your movie tickets and some grub. Well for the month of March, Cineplex is giving families a break at the box office. Show your Irish pride at the St Patrick’s Day Parade! The parade now in its 30th year is the largest display of Irish cultural heritage and history in the City of Toronto. So bring your family down to enjoy a beautifully orchestrated parade on Sunday March 19. It’s free. Why not kick off March Break with a bang by heading to the Sony Centre for Performing Arts for Family Fan Day! There will be a full house of stars from the media as well as your favourite television shows.
