The idea of staying put in Toronto for my annual winter vacation is somewhat foreign to me.

I've always planned some kind of trip for the past few years – usually across the ocean, usually somewhere in Europe.

But this year, I'm considering a staycation.

I'll save money for sure, but I'm still determined to make the most of my time off (which I have yet to schedule).

Maybe I'll work on some creative project or visit some local fancy restaurant(s) for lunch and/or dinner. I might participate in any number of fun activities within the city or possibly volunteer at a non-profit organization.

Whatever it is, I want to do something that is (a) relaxing, and (b) rewarding.
