So here we are, a month into the new year.
As February approaches, the gyms and fitness facilities that were bustling with excitement in January, will be empty.
Why? Why without fail does this pattern repeat itself each year?
You see, making resolutions is a function of the conscious mind and following through with them is a function of your habits, which are under the control of your sub-conscious mind. No matter how bad you want to change, nothing will ‘stick’ unless you change your habits and to do that you must impact your sub-conscious.
What does that mean? You have to change how you think completely. It is not enough for you to just decide to change. You must repeat new patterns of thought over and over to reprogram your beliefs around getting in shape or your program will never stick.
