Everyone (well, almost everyone) says sushi tastes better in the west coast, right? Wrong.
Ok, now that I got your attention, I admit that I actually don't know that it's wrong. But I'm going to do a little experiment to see if the above statement is true or false.
Here is the setup of this very scientific experiment (trust me, I have a degree in biology...)
1. Choose a sushi restaurant that has locations in both Toronto and Vancouver. For this experiment, I have chosen Guu.
2. Order the same items on the menu at both locations.
3. Take a friend originally from Vancouver with you to balance my inherent bias due to fondness of home city (ie. Toronto).
4. Take another friend who doesn't care at all which city is better and just wants to eat sushi. He/she will be called the "control variable."
5. Go to the restaurant at approximately the same time of day to judge wait times (yes, the experience of dining out will also be a factor).
6. Note extraneous factors that might affect the overall experience of this experiment (ie. Olympics in Vancouver...might increase wait times; Relatively new opening of Toronto location...might increase wait times.)
7. Gather verdict from all three participants. Determine winner.
Very scientific. Results available in two to three weeks.
