Looking back this year, I've certainly done my fair share of traveling.
I backpacked through such great cities as London, England, Paris/Versailles, France, Brussels, Belgium, Berlin/Munich, Germany, and Prague, Czech Republic.
I've gone from coast to coast in this great country of ours, attending a wedding in Vancouver then going on a road trip with friends to Charlottetown, P.E.I. -- eating fresh seafood in both coastal cities.
Looking forward to next year, in about two weeks, I'll be on my way to Montreal to ring in the New Year. In about two months, I'll be flying over to Vancouver (again) to experience the Winter Olympics.
And in August, I have big plans to go somewhere I've always wanted to travel to. Stay tuned for that announcement in early 2010 if things go as planned.
But for now, at this moment in time, during this holiday season, I am glad to be in Toronto.
It's where my family and friends are. It's where everything is comfortably familiar to me. And it's where King Tut is currently at a special exhibit in the AGO.
Oh, and of course, it's home.
