RE: Consultation for LRT starts over, April 16
The LRT proposal on its own right of way was unworkable because it did not meet local objectives.
The top down planning practised by the city inevitably causes conflict, ie: skateboard park, skating trail. Forcing unwanted schemes on Lakeshore is a waste of time, energy and money. The city needs to recognize the contribution a local community makes by involving them at the beginning of a process. This way a win-win solution can be reached.
