Corner store robbed, police seek suspects

Toronto police are looking for four male suspects following the armed robbery of Luke's Variety on Thursday, March 5.

The incident happened at about 8:40 p.m. when four male suspects, one of which was wearing a disguise and another armed with a handgun, entered the Logan Avenue corner store.

One suspect reportedly approached a 44-year-old female employee and demanded she hand over cash, which she did.

The suspects then fled the scene eastbound on Withrow Avenue.

The victim was not injured.

Police are looking for a black male, 20 to 23 years old, six-feet to six-feet two-inches tall, 170 to 190 pounds with a thin build. The second suspect is a black male, 20 to 23 years old, five-feet seven- to five-feet nine-inches tall, 150 to 170 pounds with a medium build. The third is a male, 20 to 23 years old, five-feet seven to five-feet nine-inches tall, 160 to 185 pounds, while the final suspect is a male, 20 to 23 years old, five-feet seven- to five-feet nine-inches tall, 150 to 175 pounds with a medium build.
