Re: 'Bylaw battle on Kingston Road,' News, March 18I applaud the City's efforts to beautify Kingston Road. If it weren't for strip plazas, Scarborough would be full of parks and playgrounds. However, I would rather see more uniformed police officers patrolling Kingston Road.
I would like to see regular news items informing us about the success that the police are having in arresting the drug dealers, prostitutes and johns along Kingston Road.
While business owners need to be respectful of property lines, customers, residents and visitors need to know that they can feel safe while walking along Kingston Road.
