Thieves steal drugs from Shopper's Drug Mart

Thieves made off with drugs from the Shopper's Drug Mart on Dundas Street West after slipping an employee a note demanding she open the safe around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25.

In the note, one of the two suspects indicated he was armed although police say no weapon was seen. The victim complied and the suspects helped themselves to a quantity of drugs before fleeing the scene in an awaiting vehicle driven by a third suspect. The car headed eastbound on Dundas Street West and then southbound on Runnymede Road.

There were no injuries.

Police are asking the public's help in locating the suspects. One is described as white, 35 to 40 years old, five-foot-eight to five-foot-ten about 150 to 160 pounds with a stocky build. He's got straight, long black hair. The second is described as white, 25 to 30, five-foot-eight to five-foot-ten about 150 to 160 pounds with a stocky build. The third suspect is between 30 to 40 years old.
