A teenager is dead after he was shot late Tuesday afternoon in North York.
At 5:12 p.m., police responded to 4400 Jane St., north of Finch Avenue, where they found the victim on a basketball court suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He eventually succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's identity has not been released.
Investigators have been given information that a silver, four-door car was seen leaving the area just after the shooting.
