Tennis players from some North York schools competed at the Ontario Federation of School Athletics Association (OFSAA) on June 3 at the Rexall Centre.In the mixed ranked players category, Ben Cooke and Rina Duborsarski from Northview Heights Secondary School were beaten by Newmarket's Huron Heights High School with a final score of 8-2.
In single non-ranked category action, Anthony Gredicak, from Brebeuf College School, fell to Max Besworth of Stratford Central with a final score of 8-1.
In single non-ranked girls action, Sofia Amine el Hassani of Etienne Brule Secondary School defeated Vera Shulgin, of Earl Haig Secondary School, with a final score of 8-5.
In doubles non-ranked, Kyle Basdeo and Darren Guo of Victoria Park Collegiate Institute defeated Brandon Goldberg and Nathan Levi of Metropolitan Preparatory Academy with a final score of 8-5.
In mixed non-rank play, Erwin Sirbu and Ioana Cozma of Victoria Park School were defeated by Cameron Heights Collegiate from Kitchener.
