AN ARTS AND CRAFTS Sale takes place at Westway United Church from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission for adults is $1. Students get in for 50 cents, and children under 10 are free. ACTION VOLUNTEERS FOR ANIMALS is holding their annual bazaar to fundraise for their group from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Etobicoke Olympian located at 590 Rathburn Rd. The Action Volunteers for Animals is a group of Toronto Humane Society workers that serve the Toronto area by working hands on with animals in the community and promoting animal rights.

JAZZ AT RY starts its season with The Generations Trio featuring Gene Di Novi on piano, Andrew Scott on guitar and Neil Swainson on bass. The concert is located at Royal York Road United Church, 851 Royal York Rd. Tickets $20 or $17 (seniors 65 AND students). Net proceeds help support Royal York Road Church's Local Outreach Projects.

THE LADIES AUXILIARY of All Saints Church invites you to come out for their Christmas fair from 5 to 9 p.m. The fair will also be open on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include sale items such as, crafts, baked goods, antique items and more. CITIZENS CONCERNED ABOUT the Future of the Etobicoke Waterfront group will have its monthly bird walk from 9 to 11 a.m. The walk will take place at Humber Bay East Park. Attendees are asked to meet in the south parking lot. This is a free open event for the public and will take place regardless of weather conditions.

ALDERWOOD UNITED CHURCH is hosting its annual bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 44 Delma Dr. featuring baked goods, knitting, white elephant and tea room.

A WORSHIP AND GAMES' night is being held at Islington Baptist Church at 50 Royalavon Crescent (on behalf of St. Andrew's Singles). Come listen to worship music or play some board games. This event is open to all christian singles ages 18 and up. Snacks and refreshments will be provided for free. The time for this event is 7 pm to 9:30 pm. OUR SAVIOUR THISTLETOWN Lutheran Lodge will host its annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. located at 2715 Islington Ave. north of Albion Road.

A FREE COMMUNITY BANQUET is being hosted by St. Andrew's Church on from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a time of games, refreshments and live music. It's all free, there are prizes, so join us for a time of fun, good food and the opportunity to meet other neighbours. WRITER TERRY FALLIS will address the Writers and Editors Network as he describes the unconventional route he took to getting published.
