SPORTS: North York's Nestor gets career grand slam

North York's Daniel Nestor has achieved a career grand slam in men's doubles tennis.

Nestor, along with Serbian partner Nenad Zimonjic, claimed the Wimbeldon doubles title at Saturday, defeating Sweden's Jonas Bjorkman and Zimbabwe's Kevin Ullyett  7-6(12), 6-7(3), 6-3, 6-3 in the final.

The Wimbledon title had been the only one missing from Nestor's grand slam. With previous partner Mark Knowles of the Bahamas, Nestor claimed titles in the 2002 Australian Open, the 2004 U.S. Open, and the 2007 French Open.
