
The team's record at the event was 1-2.
The Bulldogs went 3-0 in the city championships which got them into the provincials where they lost to Burlington 10-9 in their opener then bounced back to beat Thornhill 14-11 in extra innings. During the game they had a eight run come-from-behind victory.
Their next game started only 30 minutes later and Todd Train, coach of the team said the heat and emotion of the previous game got to the boys. They lost 11-0.
"We're already looking at next year," Train said.
