A 19-year-old man is facing a second degree murder charge in the death of Dominic Shearer-Hanomansingh last month.

The 20-year-old was taken to hospital July 26 after he was shot just after 11 p.m. in the Eglinton and Bicknell avenues area. He died three days later.

Police arrested Jimmy Jason John Aug. 7. He was scheduled to appear in court the following day.
