Two men were hurt after trying to rob another man of a bottle of beer near Yonge Street and Finch Avenue early yesterday.

Police said the suspects and the victim were drinking together. "Then one guy left with the beer, and the others wanted it so they went after him," Det. David James said. "There was some kind of a struggle."

The suspects were taken to hospital where they were checked out. They were then brought to the 32 Division police station and charged with robbery.

The victim received minor scrapes.
