Police are investigating after shots were fired into a York apartment early Wednesday.

Police said a 35-year-old woman was in her apartment on Dundas Street near Scarlett Road when she heard gunshots and glass breaking at about 12:45 a.m. Gun casings were found lodged in the hallway, the wall and the balcony.

Earlier in the week, someone fired several shots into a pool house near Jane Street and Trethewey Drive.

Police located bullet holes in the window of the door of the pool house. Bullets also hit a wall and a metal frame between two windows.

There were no injuries in either incident.

Police don't have descriptions of the shooters.
