We found a pile of kitchen waste in the Guild Inn park along the south fence just east of the garden gates during a recent Saturday morning walk.

This is a park not a garbage dump.

If people forgot to put their kitchen waste out for pick up on Friday, then they must hang onto it until next pick up.

And if people think they are feeding the wildlife, they are not, they are actually poisoning them.

Somebody actually had to carry a bag of this waste into the park and deliberately dump it.

It amazes me how stupid and arrogant some people actually are: coffee cup droppers, pop can throwers, booze bottle smashers and people who leave any type of garbage behind.

Remember this simple rule: if you carry it in, you can certainly carry it out.

Aside from that, there are plenty of garbage bins around so take your garbage over there and drop it in.

If you can't dispose of your garbage properly, stay out of our parks.
