Artist exhibits Moments at Fairview Library
A combination of her love for flowers and drawing has led to her current exhibition. She has drawn some of her favourite flowers: iris, lily of the valley, streptocarpus, peony, rudebeckia, tulip as well as several bouquets.
Dastgheib-Beheshti draws with colour pencils and occasional black ink finelined on a variety of papers and illustration boards.
Dastgheib-Beheshti says she's always loved to draw. A few years ago, while waiting for the birth of her daughter, who was overdue, she turned to drawing to pass the time and realized that drawing really helped her cope with the stress and anxiety. Since then, she has turned to drawing in difficult times.
